Taqua and Dynavar Networking sign national reseller agreement for Taqua's next-generation Class 5 switch
November 18, 2002
RICHARDSON, Texas -- Taqua, Inc., the leading provider of next-generation Class 5 switching, today announced that it has entered into a reseller agreement with Dynavar Networking, Inc., a North American-based systems integrator that delivers multi-vendor customer-driven voice switching and data solutions. Under terms of the agreement, Dynavar has been certified to resell, install and service Taqua's award-winning OCX Class 5 next-generation Class 5 switch to enterprises and service providers throughout North America. Partnering with Dynavar, one of North America's foremost experienced integrators of Class 5 switching equipment, will empower Taqua to expand its reach in penetrating the service provider and enterprise markets, thereby increasing sales, revenue and market share. "Dynavar has extensive experience selling, installing and supporting carrier-class voice switching gear from Lucent and others, however, there was a critical component of our product portfolio that was missing - a next-generation Class 5 switch that focuses on DMS 10, and Siemens replacement in the Independent Telephone Company market space. As Dynavar only selects and integrates best-of-breed solutions, we conducted extensive research and due diligence and chose Taqua's OCX to be our next-generation Class 5 switch offering," said Greg Miller, president and COO, Dynavar Networking, Inc. "Taqua's OCX, buoyed by its small footprint, compelling economics, rich Class 5 feature set, and clear migration path to packet technologies will be a strong addition to Dynavar's product portfolio. We are already experiencing strong market demand for the Taqua OCX among service providers and enterprises, and expect to quickly close several major deals." Taqua Systems Inc.
