Syndesis appoints Mark Fowlie, previously SVP of products and marketing at Workbrain, to the newly created role of chief marketing officer

TORONTO -- John Lochow, President and CEO of Syndesis, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mark Fowlie to the position of Chief Marketing Officer. In this newly created role, Mr. Fowlie will be responsible for Syndesis' extensive global marketing efforts at this important juncture in the corporation's recently announced growth strategy.

"We are fortunate to have attracted an executive of Mark's caliber and experience to help take Syndesis to the next level," said Lochow. "Mark's marketing expertise and product vision will further solidify Syndesis' leadership position in the OSS industry by continuing to deliver the robust Convergent Service Delivery Management solutions for which we are renowned. At the same time, Mark will cultivate new and creative initiatives to accelerate Syndesis' aggressive worldwide market penetration strategy."

Mr. Fowlie comes to Syndesis from Workbrain, a workforce management software solutions developer, where he served as Senior Vice President of Products and Marketing. Before joining Workbrain, Mr. Fowlie was Vice President of Product Marketing at Amdocs, responsible for the marketing of all Amdocs software worldwide. Prior to Amdocs, he was Director of Product Management for, and a founding employee of, Solect Technology Group, which Amdocs acquired in 2000. Mr. Fowlie's background also includes management consulting experience with a large system integration firm. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto.
