Siemens and Huawei agree to integrate communication solutions for enterprise customers

SHENZHEN, China -- Huawei Technologies and the Siemens Communications Group have signed a cooperation contract. The agreement comprises integration of Huawei’s network infrastructure products in Siemens communication solutions for enterprise customers, and will primarily cover the Huawei portfolio for Quidway routers and switches. Users of the Siemens HiPath enterprise solutions will be able to choose from an even broader range of products from leading manufacturers including Huawei when designing their network to take advantage of second gene­ration IP applications.

Huawei's data communications solution offers comprehensive coverage across the core layer, convergence layer and access layer as well as intelligent terminals, and Huawei has become a leading end-to-end equipment and solutions provider in the world. The Quidway routers and switches products of Huawei have been deployed in many vertical industries such as education, finance and government, as well as in many national backbone networks including those in China, Brazil, UK, Germany, Russia, Spain and Thailand.

Through this cooperation with Siemens, Huawei wants to reinforce its partnership strategy in the enterprise data communications field.
