DUBLIN -- Shenick, a leading provider of network and application performance assurance test systems, today announced availability of its new IPv6 test module offering per-IP flow quality of service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) testing as a powerful addition to the diversifEye test system product line. Service providers, equipment vendors, enterprises and integrators in North America, Europe, Japan, Korea and Australia have already deployed Shenick's diversifEye.
As service providers move from IPv6 pilot services to launching full commercial applications on a worldwide basis, demand is growing for quality assurance products such as diversifEye to test a variety of network and application service conditions. In particular, service providers must test IPv4 and IPv6 inter-working, not only at the protocol level but also with a variety of applications. A service provider offering a mix of IPv4 and IPv6 must test performance and end user quality of experience by emulating real application scenarios on an end-to-end basis.
IPv6 Forum President, Latif Ladid, says, "As a member of the IPv6 forum, Shenick is quickly establishing itself as a key provider of test systems that effectively proves the case that IPv6 deployments are well and truly underway and can smoothly co-exist with IPv4 during network transition."
