Premier marketing strategist Judith Meester joins Santel Networks as marketing director

NEWARK, Calif. -- Santel Networks, a provider of dynamic signal enhancement solutions for optical networks, today announced the appointment of Judith Meester as marketing director. Reporting to Santel Network's John Keating, COO and vice president of marketing and business development, Ms. Meester is responsible for worldwide product marketing in the optical communications transport systems segment. Ms. Meester, a trained physicist, brings over 18 years of marketing and engineering expertise across optical, networking, and semiconductor products. She served most recently as group product marketing manager, High Speed Communications ICs at Infineon Technologies, formerly Siemens Components. While at Infineon, Ms. Meester was responsible for all product marketing management functions in North America for high speed communications integrated circuits (OC-48, OC-192, OC-768 and 10 Gigabit Ethernet). Previously, Ms. Meester was a member of technical staff at Lucent Technologies (then AT&T) Bell Laboratories, where she conducted research on photonic circuits and systems. More recently, she held marketing positions at Lucent Technologies, as well as applications engineering positions at both Lucent Technologies and Astral Point Communications.
