ReefEdge expands into rapidly growing European wireless LAN marketplace with opening of a London sales office

FORT LEE, N.J. and LONDON -- ReefEdge, the industry leader in wireless network infrastructure products, today announced the expansion of its European operations with a London sales office, and the appointment of Albert Benhamou, as Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Earlier this year, the company launched its European Development Center in Rennes, France, which works to expand the ReefEdge product line to meet the needs of the international marketplace. Albert Benhamou will be responsible for the management and implementation of all EMEA sales through the company's direct and indirect sales channels. Mr. Benhamou has over 20 years of experience in the fields of computing, telecommunications, networking and the Internet. Prior to ReefEdge, he was Vice President for European Field Operations at Loudcloud, a Managed Services provider co-founded by Marc Andreessen. Previous achievements include launching the European operations for Mirapoint, an Internet Messaging company and serving as Vice President at FORE Systems, a high-tech networking company, where he ran sales, marketing and field support operations with over 120 people in 16 offices across Europe, Middle-East, Africa and India. Albert also held a variety of executive positions at Cisco Systems. "Wireless local area network usage is exploding in Europe," said Ajei Gopal, CEO of ReefEdge.
