WESTPORT, Conn. -- Peace of Mind at Light Speed Inc. (POMALS), a leading developer of location-based solutions, today announced an alliance with Research In Motion Limited (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM), a world leader in the mobile communications market, to deliver Location-Based Services and Enterprise Applications to BlackBerry™ users. This agreement is the first in what POMALS believes will be a series of alliances with wireless carriers and mobile communication solution providers to deliver location-based applications to business professionals and consumers through its proprietary Monitoring Platform and Location-Based Browser.Under the terms of the agreement, POMALS will develop Location-Based applications and enterprise solutions for BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds™. The initial launch product will be a Powered by POMALS sleeve for the BlackBerry 957 Wireless Handheld™. Future development plans include creating solutions for Java-based BlackBerry handhelds.
