PHOENIX -- PhoenixSoft, a leading software provider to the telecommunications industry since 1985, today announced the launch of CMS/Soft Switch, a feature-rich enhanced services solution for VoIP routing. CMS/Soft Switch will be available for demonstration at the Spring Voice on the Net Expo (VON) 2002, in Seattle, Washington, at the PhoenixSoft booth, 409/411. CMS/Soft Switch employs the same feature set as PhoenixSoft's existing CMS/2000 product, while controlling SIP-enabled VoIP gateways or SIP telephones, such as those manufactured by Lucent, Cisco, and Nuera. This solution gives providers the ability to maximize revenue potential by adding enhanced services to their VoIP networks. "We are thrilled to announce the arrival of this highly anticipated solution," says Paul Amick, executive vice president. "VoIP is, unquestionably, the star of today's long distance marketplace. It enables service providers to improve the efficiency and profitability of their networks. The missing link to VoIP routing, thus far, has been the ability to integrate revenue-generating services such as prepaid services, voicemail, enhanced or preferred routing, and real-time billing and call detail. CMS/Soft Switch provides this long-awaited solution." PhoenixSoft
