PARIS -- Orange Business Services, a world leader in network services, is increasing the coverage of its International Ethernet Link service by doubling the number of countries to 32. Designed for multinational companies and large businesses that need high-speed datacenter networks, this unique solution is supported by a new-generation VPLS Ethernet network operated by Orange. The innovative solution also includes new functionality including: higher speeds, four classes of service with dynamic bandwidth management, best-in-class service level agreements and customized service support.
International Ethernet Link interconnects company’s headquarters, subsidiaries and datacenters using high-speed Ethernet connections. International Ethernet Link is a strong solution for customers who want a separate high-speed core data network that can work in parallel with Orange’s market leading Business VPN offer. This solution enables multinationals to consolidate IT operations and reduce costs while guaranteeing a secure and reliable exchange of their business voice, image and data flows.
International Ethernet Link is the solution chosen by AREVA, a Paris-based world energy expert, which is depending on Orange Business Services to provide connections between its French and German sites.
worldwide coverage across six continents: International Ethernet Link is now available in the following countries:
• France (where Orange already provides Ethernet services using VPLS in over 2,000 cities); Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey;
• Morocco (Casashore Technopole in Casablanca);
• United States and Canada;
• Argentina, Brazil and Chile;
• India, Hong-Kong, Singapore, Japan and South Korea;
• Australia.
International Ethernet Link will be extended to Finland, Poland, Mexico, Venezuela and China next month.
