China's Anhui Radio and Television Information Network Company (AGWL) selects NDS Videoguard to secure its new digital cable business

ANHUI, China -- NDS, the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, today announced that Anhui Radio and Television Information Network Comp., Ltd (AGWL), has selected NDS VideoGuard® conditional access for the launch of digital cable TV services for its subscribers in Anhui.
VideoGuard, provided by global market leader NDS, will support AGWL’s business and security requirements, enabling AGWL to benefit from new business models and advanced services on a secure and flexible platform. NDS technology is facilitating the expansion of AGWL’s digital programming package to more than 120 channels from its current offering of 50 analog channels.
NDS technology will enable AGWL to develop an industry leading digital platform capable of delivering enhanced, value added services in a secure and robust environment.
