LONDON -- Tertio Telecoms, specialist in service provisioning and mediation, has announced that Monet GSM, the Montenegrin mobile telephony operator, has selected Tertio's Provident service activation solution to support the development of its business.

The increasing popularity of Montenegro as a tourist destination over the next few years is expected to offer additional opportunities to mobile operators in the region, and Monet will be well placed to take advantage of the additional revenue available by using Tertio's solution.

Provident was selected as the best-in-class solution for provisioning after extensive evaluation. Eva Sabanovic, IT and Billing Director at Monet said, "We needed a next-generation provisioning solution that would help us to launch new services quickly and cost effectively. As well as integrating easily with our billing system, Tertio's product will give us the additional flexibility to manage new service configuration ourselves."

Nigel Clifford, CEO of Tertio said: "This deal reinforces our market leadership in service activation and further complements our growing customer portfolio in South Eastern Europe. We are confident that Provident will allow Monet to take advantage of current and future opportunities in the region."
