"We have already started to deploy this solution in numerous revenue-producing networks, and are very pleased with the competitive advantages that Optimate is already giving us in the marketplace."

"This agreement further validates FlexLight's GPON solution in the marketplace, and demonstrates that our service-provider features are able to meet the stringent standards of leading providers such as Mediacom," says Michael Camp, President and CEO of FlexLight Networks, Inc. "We are delighted to be working with Mediacom as its supplier of Fibre-To-The-Business (FTTB) access equipment."

Optimate is the first solution on the market which adheres to the International Telecommunications Union's (ITU) G.984 family of specifications for GPON technology. Optimate will provide Mediacom with the capabilities to drive data and voice services to its Enterprise Networks customers.
