MURRAY HILL, N.J. -- Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU) today announced that John Kritzmacher, formerly vice president, Lucent financial planning, has been appointed senior vice president and corporate controller. Kritzmacher replaces Mark White, who has decided to leave the company. "John is stepping into the role of corporate controller with a broad range of experience in finance, marketing and operations," said Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Frank D'Amelio. "He has the right mix of financial know-how, marketing and operational experience to help drive the next phase of Lucent's turnaround.
