PETERBOROUGH, Ontario -- Lindsay Broadband Inc., a leading manufacturer and global provider of RF distribution products for the CATV and wired communication industries, today announced the newest addition to their diverse line of communication products, the LBHCS-44 Headend Combiner/Splitter, a single rack unit and flexible solution that consolidates any combination of 4 narrowcast edge QAMs, such as SDV or VOD, onto a common line and then splits them for delivery of up to 4 remote nodes.

“Combining and splitting digital video signals is a common occurrence for video service providers and the video quality must be maintained,” said Dave Atman, President of Lindsay Broadband Inc. “The LBHCS-44 utilizes extremely low loss components to maximize throughput of the digital video signals.”
