Internet Photonics hires Peter Dale to run cable business unit; Stephen Dukes selected to chair technical advisory board

SHREWSBURY, N.J. and MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- Internet Photonics, the leading developer of Carrier-Grade Optical Ethernet(TM) and 10 Gbps DWDM solutions for the cable and telco markets, today announced the appointment of Peter Dale, as vice president of its cable business unit. Additionally, Internet Photonics appointed cable industry leader, Stephen Dukes as chairman of the company's technical advisory board. In the role of Vice President for cable business at Internet Photonics, Peter Dale is responsible for the sales and marketing of the Internet Photonics solutions into cable customers worldwide. Prior to Internet Photonics, Peter was vice president of North American sales for Narad Networks, responsible for developing and managing MSO customer relationships in North America, and building and managing the North American Field Sales and Network Engineering organizations. Stephen Dukes is currently President and CEO of Imaginary Universes. Mr. Dukes is responsible for the management and direction of the advanced technologies and strategic management group that advises companies in the development and investment of existing and new technologies. He formerly held Vice President positions with MediaOne Labs, TCI, where he also served as CEO of the MCNS Holdings, and CableLabs. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a member of the Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers (SCTE). Internet Photonics Inc.
