WALTHAM, Mass. -- Intelsat, the world’s leading fixed satellite services provider, has selected NetCracker Technology software and services to improve the automation of its service delivery processes.
This contract expands NetCracker’s footprint beyond Mobile, Fixed, and Cable into the Satellite and Entertainment market segments — and strategically positions NetCracker to be the solution of choice for the delivery of next-generation services.
Intelsat purchased NetCracker’s Resource Inventory, Discovery & Reconciliation, Service Inventory, and Service Provisioning & Activation modules as well as related professional services. The project will further automate Intelsat’s current fulfillment and provisioning protocols, centralize disparate management systems, streamline operations, and act as a key component in Intelsat’s continuing drive toward proactive service assurance. NetCracker will also provide workflow management functionality for Intelsat’s fulfillment processes.
“NetCracker’s innovative solution will enable Intelsat to continue enhancing its efficient operational foundation — at the same time that it speeds time-to-market, reduces costs, and improves the customer experience,” said Andrew Feinberg, President and CEO of NetCracker Technology.
