Intel turns to Psytechnics for video quality assessment expertise

BOSTON -- Intel Corporation, the world¹s largest chip maker, has selected Psytechnics, the global leader in voice and video quality assessment software, to develop perceptual video quality management solutions.

The Intel announcement is the second major partnership for the company less than a month, closely following the first purchase of the Psytechnics Video Agent software by Spirent Communications. These deals with recognized global industry leaders provide major validation for the Psytechnics family of Service Assessment Modules and recognized position within the market.

Based on Psytechnics¹ heritage in voice quality assessment, the move into multimedia video has been based on standards and expertise built on many years of work with voice solutions.
