HAYWARD, Calif. -- Terawave Communications Inc.®, a worldwide leader supplier of converged access solutions and Golden Line a leading supplier of leased lines in Moscow announced today the successful completion of the deployment of Terawave’s Fiber to the Premises (FTTP) systems in Moscow.

“Since we started the installation of our PON-based access network during the second quarter of 2003, Terawave’s Passive Optical Network products delivered not only superior performance and efficiencies but also showed a high level of reliability, ease of installation and operation,” said Mikhail Belyavtsev Technical Director of Golden Line. ”Terawave’s products architecture and breath of interfaces allowed Golden Line to offer ATM services with guaranteed bandwidth, security and QOS to our most remote customers with minimum up-front capital investment and high operational flexibility.”

“We are proud to have played a key role in Golden Line’s expansion to new markets and that Terawave’s FTTP products exceeded their highest expectations,” said Frank Lockwood, VP of Marketing of Terawave Communications. “Terawave’s FTTP systems have been deployed all around the world and they consistently proved to be the right product of choice for our customers to reach new customers, with new services and guaranteed QOS. The use of PON architecture gives customers the most flexibility in their deployments and the best alternative to reduce CAPEX and OPEX. ”

“Terawave worked closely with Golden Line to ensure the success of this deployment and we are looking forward to continue our close relationship as we move forward in the expansion of our network,” added Mr. Belyavtsev.
