Industry veteran to oversee all Genband networking and applications solutions and R&D centers worldwide

FRISCO, Texas -– GENBAND, a leading developer of IP infrastructure and application solutions, today announced the appointment of B.G. Kumar as President of Networking and Applications, effective immediately. Mr. Kumar will lead GENBAND’s Applications and Networking R&D team worldwide, which encompasses the company’s Session Border Controller (SBC), Security Gateway and Application server and software businesses. Based at GENBAND’s Frisco, Texas, headquarters, he will report directly to Charlie Vogt, President and CEO of GENBAND.
