ANNECY, France -- Front Porch Digital today announced it has opened a new, larger office in Annecy, France, with a central location only 20 minutes from the Geneva International Airport. The space is needed to accommodate business growth occasioned by Front Porch's new SAMMA line of media migration products.

The office, which opened May 25, is almost double the size of the company's previous European quarters and features a demo center with remote live-demonstration capabilities, as well as a 120-seat auditorium for hosting customer events and seminars.

"With the integration of our groundbreaking new SAMMA products, which enable migration and preservation of large-volume videotape archives to secure digital storage, we needed more space and improved accessibility for our international customers," said Rino Petricola, Front Porch Digital senior vice president and managing director. "Our decision to open this office is a sign both of our current growth and of our optimism for the future. We expect it will enable us to meet our customers' needs for several years to come."
