September 16, 2009
NEW YORK -- FiOS TV subscribers can now enjoy online KODAK Gallery photos and slideshows on their TV screens, thanks to a free new widget from Verizon.
The widget gives registered KODAK Gallery users instant on-screen access to photos and slideshows they have stored on Kodak's online digital photo service. This includes photos from friends and family that have been linked to the subscriber's KODAK Gallery account.

"Bringing your personal photos to life on your home-entertainment system takes your enjoyment to a much higher level," said Shawn Strickland, vice president, marketing for Verizon Telecom. "Every background and every person becomes larger than life. Plus, sharing photos with others becomes much more fun in the comfort of your family room. Our latest widget makes it easy to reach out and enjoy your KODAK Gallery photos on the biggest screen in your home - the TV. It's another interactive feature from Verizon that cable can't deliver."
