F5 Networks achieves OPSEC certification from Check Point, assuring that its BIG-IP integrates with Check Point's security framework

SEATTLE -- F5 Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:FFIV), the leading provider of Internet Traffic and Content Management (iTCM) products, today announced that it has achieved OPSEC(R)(Open Platform for Security) certification from Check Point Software Technologies (Nasdaq:CHKP). OPSEC certification assures that F5's BIG-IP(R) product integrates seamlessly with Check Point's market-leading VPN-1(R)/FireWall-1(R)software. "VPN-1/FireWall-1 provides customers their mission critical connection to the Internet and therefore must be available continuously," said Upesh Patel, manager OPSEC Alliance. "We are pleased to award F5 the OPSEC Certification for their high availability and load balancing solution.
