Tecnomen delivers Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) messaging system to Eltel Networks in Sweden

ESPOO, Finland -- Tecnomen delivers a PMR (Professional Mobile Radio) Messaging system to Eltel Networks in Sweden, intended for public authorities' use. The first phase delivery contains the Voice Messaging System and Short Data Service Centre(SDSC). The system delivery has been started on the third quarter of 2005.The PMR network in Sweden is operated by Eltel Networks and is the authority network based on TETRA technology. With this new system, Eltel Networks can offer diverse services for use by police, fire brigades, rescue and social services.
"Messaging services such as Voice Mail with SDS Notification responds to subscriber demand in the Swedish TETRA network. By providing messaging during network launch we secure the full usage of network capabilities", says Mr. Jan Nilsson, Technical Manager, Eltel Networks.

Recently, public authorities have shown increasing interest in voice and short messaging services. In response to this growing demand, the Tecnomen PMR Messaging product unit is tailoring Tecnomen's Messaging Solutions to the public authority market.
