Finnish MVNO partners with NSN at Mobile World Congress
February 4, 2011
HELSINKI -- Cubio, a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in Finland, will soon enable its customers, whether consumers, small and medium size businesses (SMEs) or other communications service providers, to enrich the way they communicate with their contacts. The company has selected a cloud-based messaging platform from Nokia Siemens Networks, on top of which they are building applications that help their different customer segments take full advantage of multiple communication channels.
For SMEs, Cubio will offer a customer service solution that ensures no customer call goes unanswered and thus helps to improve the SME’s image when all lines are busy. SMEs can easily subscribe for an interactive voice response (IVR), configure the service via a web portal and guarantee that all customer service calls receive a customized message whether an answer from a call center operator or an automatic service response.
Consumers can use the messaging service to ensure that even if they are not available to take the call, their friends receive a personalized answer via their preferred channel, for example, Plaxo, Twitter, SMS, or email.
At Mobile World Congress 2011, Fira de Barcelona, 14 – 17 February, Nokia Siemens Networks will showcase the new messaging platform along with other new cloud based solutions.
