CAMBRIDGE, U.K. -- CacheLogic - the industry's acknowledged leader in ISP traffic management and analysis solutions - today announced immediate availability of its new P2P Management Solution, comprised of the new CacheplianceT 1100, 4100 and CacheswitchT 320, as well as new software further integrating the devices together into a seamless solution for Peer-to-Peer cost savings. In addition, the company also announced the opening of its Asia-Pacific sales headquarters in Singapore, to service CacheLogic's rapidly growing client-base in this geography.

CacheLogic's new solution offers vastly increased throughput via 64-bit data addressing and storage capacity in the multi-Terabyte range, as well as a range of new features that have been developed in consultation with existing customers. The solution offers Service Providers even greater flexibility in deployment and the ability to meet the diverse requirements of DSL, Cable and WiMaxT operators.

CacheLogic presents Service Providers with three unique technological and business propositions that enable them to strategically manage Peer-to-Peer traffic. These are:

  • The ability to obtain significant bandwidth savings;

  • Reducing the burden of infrastructure and last mile traffic volumes;

  • Maintaining Peer-to-Peer user experience and thus reducing the likelihood of subscriber churn.

The CacheLogic P2P Management Solution can achieve these results by intelligently caching and serving Peer-to-Peer content from an on-net source.

"We are pleased to announce the next evolution of CacheLogic's acclaimed family of P2P management products," said Andrew Parker, CTO of CacheLogic. "CacheLogic's success has always been predicated on the belief that ISPs can manage their bandwidth costs associated with P2P without having to resort to legacy and disruptive technologies such as traffic shaping or throttling. Tier-one ISPs worldwide agree with this and we look forward to providing them and new customers with the enhanced functionality of our new products."
