SUWANEE, Ga. -- ARRIS (Nasdaq: ARRS) today announced its participation at this year's Cable Congress held from March 3-5 in Brussels. ARRIS will be demonstrating its convergence-enabling broadband solutions at Cable Congress. Â ARRIS is supporting Cable Europe in the set up of the Cable Europe Broadband Village, a demonstration area featuring current and future leading edge multi-screen and super high speed Internet applications via cable. The Cable Europe Broadband Village will be enabled by a live connection to the network of local cable operator Telenet. The ambition of the Broadband Village is to demonstrate to attendees and regulators a view on the wired home and customer experience of the future.
Additionally, ARRIS CEO & Chairman Bob Stanzione and two of ARRIS' senior technologists will be speaking on panels during the event:
Bob Stanzione, CEO of ARRIS, will join Mike Fries, CEO LGI and Hans Holger Albrecht, CEO MTG on Wednesday's Opening CEO panel entitled "A View From The Top: Beyond Speed" at 11:30am, March 3rd.
Jeff Howe, Senior Director, Broadband Communications Architecture, ARRIS, will present a technical paper in the Technology session: Translating Network Speed to the Home – a Discussion of Next Generation Access Networks. The panel is scheduled on Thursday, March 4th at 3:50pm.
Jobst Muhlbach, VP On Demand Business, ARRIS EMEA, will provide his expertise on Targeted Advertising and Value Added Services to the technical panel: "New Service Opportunities Courtesy of the Cloud" moderated by Telenet on Friday, March 5th at 10am.
