BT offers broadband from £15.99

LONDON -- Today BT launches its best value broadband offer for its family of consumer broadband products - giving customers the chance to buy broadband for just £15.99.
The reduced monthly prices will be available to new broadband customers who sign up between 21 April and 2 June 2005, for the first three months.
For the first three months prices for the Broadband from BT family of products will be as follows:
BT Broadband Basic (up to 1Mb) down from £17.99 to £15.99
BT Broadband (up to 2Mb) - down from £24.99 to £22.99
BT Yahoo! Broadband (up to 2Mb) - down from £26.99 to £24.99
BT Yahoo! Broadband (up to 2Mb) - down from £29.99 to £27.99
All products will continue to offer free connection and a router when purchased online.
Gavin Patterson, BT’s Group Managing Director for Consumer and Group Marketing, said: “Today's announcement is great news for customers, giving them unbeatable value broadband from a name they can trust. There has been no better time to take up Broadband from BT.
“Following our recent announcement that we are at least doubling the speed of all of our Consumer Broadband services for no extra cost, this price-cut makes Broadband from BT even better value for money than many of our key competitors, not all of whom offer their customers a full broadband experience from only £15.99month”.
