Dyband signs IP traffic management software licensing agreement with Bell Canada's Carrier Services Group for wholesale ISP customers

OTTAWA -- Dyband, an industry leading supplier of IP traffic management solutions to service providers and enterprises worldwide, announced a wholesale licensing agreement with Bell Canada's Carrier Services Group to create a customized version of Dyband's traffic management software for resale exclusively to Bell Canada's wholesale ISP customers.
Called Dynamic Traffic Shaping (DTS), the software solution will enable Bell Canada to provide value-added services for its wholesale ISP customers, by providing them with a number of innovative traffic management capabilities that can help them improve service performance, grow their revenues, reduce costs, and improve profitability. The overall value of the agreement is not being disclosed.

Dyband was selected by Bell Canada after rigorous testing in the IP Technology Research Lab. The software is an innovative, robust and reliable solution that can provide wholesale customers with advanced network visibility to control their bandwidth right down to the individual subscriber.
