B2 selects Ericsson's Ethernet DSL Access solution for its nationwide rollout of ADSL2plus-based services

STOCKHOLM -- B2, a leading European broadband access provider based in Sweden, has selected Ericsson's Ethernet DSL Access solution for their on-going nationwide roll-out of ADSL2plus based services in an Ethernet based network environment.
The roll-out of high performance ADSL2plus offerings complements B2's existing network with a powerful DSL offering and will enable new types of broadband services for residential and business users.
"Ericsson's leadership in Ethernet based DSL solutions allows us to leverage our deployed Metro Ethernet network and add high performance ADSL2plus capabilities," said Nils-Petter Tetlie, COO at B2. "The Ethernet DSL Access platform provides us with a solution that is optimized for an Ethernet based architecture and which has the features and capabilities that make it easy to integrate into our existing network in a unique way."
