3G Telit M2M module certified on AT&T network

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Telit Wireless Solutions, the North American technology arm of Telit Communications PLC, announced today that its HE863-NAD and HE863-NAR modules have earned certification on the AT&T network. Telit’s HE863 is a powerful, low-cost HSPA M2M module in a ball grid array (BGA) form factor that will enable high-bandwidth applications such as surveillance, tracking and consumer electronics devices.
Both HE863 modules support HSPA with 7.2Mbps download speeds and 5.8Mbps upload speeds. HE863-NAD is a data-only module specifically designed for the m2m community and the HE863-NAR supports data along with analog and digital voice providing the ability to include voice communications in applications that require this feature.
