Arris hires Christopher Skarica as VP, strategic accounts, in Canada

SUWANEE, Ga. -- ARRIS (Nasdaq: ARRS) today announced that Christopher Skarica has been hired as Account VP, Strategic Accounts in Canada. In this position, he will service strategic Canadian MSO accounts in their purchases and deployments of the complete line of ARRIS broadband solutions.

Skarica joins ARRIS from Huawei Technologies where he was Chief Technology Officer of their North American MSO and Cable Team. Previously, Skarica held VP of Engineering and Sales titles at Lindsay Broadband and Broadbus Technologies. He also spent five years with Nortel as Chief Technology Advisor on the Global MSO Solutions team. Prior to joining Nortel, Skarica worked for several years as Cogeco Cable Ontario’s Director of Engineering, as a Sr. Project Manager and Head Technician for Rogers Cablesystems and as Staff Technologist for Communications Engineering Services, providing technical support to Maclean Hunter systems throughout Ontario. He has over 22 years of experience in the cable industry..
