Allot announced Wholesale Communications Group (WCG) is the latest company to select its NetEnforcer Traffic Management product

SYDNEY -- Allot Communications today announced Wholesale Communications Group (WCG), the largest wholesale supplier of communications services to the Internet Service Provider (ISP) market in Australia, is the latest company to select its NetEnforcer Traffic Management product to ensure the highest quality of experience for its customers.
WCG delivers innovative and cost-effective digital subscriber line (DSL), dial-up, bandwidth, voice and virtual private network (VPN) solutions to more than 300 ISPs and system integrators Australia-wide. WCG is only one of a number of recent wins for Allot in the Australian ISP and telecommunications space, other wins including Chilli Internet, Destra Business, Veritel and A1 Systems.
The NetEnforcer family of Traffic Management appliances optimizes the performance of networks by enabling ISPs to monitor, control and report on Internet traffic behavior. This results in a consistent high quality of experience for ISPs and end-user customers alike that can be directly measured by an increase in customer loyalty and a reduction in churn rates.
Gavin Gemmell, IT Manager, Wholesale Communications Group, said: “With nearly 60 percent of Australian ISPs now dealing through WCG, we are continually adding to our wholesale product line and expanding our capabilities to enable our clients to compete more effectively in the marketplace.”
“Our deployment of Allot NetEnforcer has enabled us to provide a broader offering of products to our clients such as Voiceover IP (VoIP). As ISPs prepare to deliver increased voice and data traffic over a converged IP infrastructure, Allot’s solutions will play a pivotal role by ensuring all the traffic on these networks, including delay and latency-sensitive voice and video, are allocated the network resources necessary,” said Gemmell.
