Alloptic's Gigabit Ethernet Optical Network Terminal delivers one gigabit of bandwidth to a subscriber over a passive optical network

LIVERMORE, Calif. -- Alloptic, Inc., a global leader in the design and development of Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Networks (GEPONs), the most widely deployed next generation access network solution, today announced the availability of the industries' first Gigabit Ethernet Optical Network Terminal delivering one gigabit of bandwidth to a subscriber over a passive optical network.
