PARIS -- ONO, a leading Spanish operator for integratedbroadband telecommunication services, has signed a 125 million Eurocontract with Alcatel (Paris : CGEP, NYSE: ALA) for the supply of a globaltelecommunication solution.Alcatel will supply ONO with Alcatel 1000 switching, Litespan multiserviceaccess nodes, Optinex(TM) SDH multiservice nodes and CATV transmissionnetworks, Intelligent Network and voice mail services.
