ADC works with Sprint to mobilize sales force with innovative, integrated wireless voice and data solution

MINNEAPOLIS and OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- ADC (www.adc.com; Nasdaq:ADCT) and Sprint (NYSE:FON - News, PCS - News) today announced the full deployment of new wireless technologies for ADC's North American sales force and sales support operations staff. ADC's new wireless communications strategy incorporates an innovative solution that combines Sprint wireless devices with voice and data applications to help improve sales force automation processes. The integrated wireless solution has led to increased productivity, reduced costs and enhanced customer relationships for ADC. ADC's 250-person North American sales force and sales support operations personnel are outfitted with PCS Phones by Samsung® (SPH-i300), a color screen Palm OS-based smart phone that offers converged voice and data applications on a single device. ADC utilizes standard business applications such as email, calendar, and contacts applications via Microsoft® Exchange(TM) as well as customized nanoApplications(TM) for tasks such as checking customer order status, forecasting, order entry and operations reporting. The nanoApplications run on the Palm OS® platform.
