GERMANTOWN, Md. -- Acterna (Nasdaq:ACTR) today announced the launch of the Acterna FST-2510A TestPad High Speed Optical Analyzer. The Acterna FST-2510A enables global service providers to decrease time to revenue and time to repair as they deploy and maintain DS1 to 10 Gbit/s services in metro and DWDM networks. As multi-service provisioning platforms in metro networks are deployed in greater numbers, service providers are seeking new ways to equip the workforce with a single test solution covering numerous technologies. The Acterna FST-2510A allows technicians to install and maintain electrical and optical (SONET/SDH) services and network elements with a single module.
