ACA Connects President and CEO Grant Spellmeyer today announced the appointment of two new members to the organization's Board of Directors, effectively immediately.
Mark DeSimone, Cable One SVP of Operations and Digital Evolution, is assuming the Board seat of John Walburn, who recently left Cable One. Marc Cohen, Chief Revenue Officer of Evolution Digital, is joining the Board as an Associate Member.
Mrs. Boyers is President/CEO & Co-Founder of BOYCOM Vision, a video and broadband provider in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
DeSimone, who joined Cable One in March 2023, is responsible for leading the company's comprehensive Digital Transformation initiative and Operations Department. In his role, he supervises Cable One's enterprise project management office, business intelligence, billing department, digital strategy, customer experience and change management, and operations and call centers.
Previously, DeSimone spent more than 27 years in leadership for Southwest Airlines. Most recently, he was Senior Director of Station Command Centers and Network Operations Center, where he was responsible for 18 largest airports station command centers and contributed to 85% of SWA business and supported 18,000 employees. Additionally, he led the modernization and transformation of Dallas Love Field.
Cohen, who joined Evolution Digital in 2010, leads the company's sales, sales engineering, and product marketing strategies and execution. His responsibilities include spearheading all company revenue generation and profitability, as well as managing new commercial partnerships.
Previously, Cohen was VP of Sales for Avail-TVN, where he expanded the channel partner sales program and managed all trade customers and partnerships. He also co-founded and operated Longview Communications, where he oversaw all technical operations, engineering, construction, sales and marketing, customer care, and programming.
Prior to Longview, Cohen served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mid-Atlantic Communications. He previously held various senior-level sales and marketing positions in the cable television industry.
