STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- C-COR.net Corp. (Nasdaq:CCBL - News), a global provider of broadband communications transport products, software systems, and technical services, today announced that Kincardine Cable, an independent cable operator serving seven rural communities in Ontario, Canada, has selected C-COR's GigE Max, a new transport module in the Company's CHP Max5000(TM) headend platform, to enable a phased-in deployment of multiple advanced subscriber services. The project will kick off in July 2004 with the implementation of high-speed data Internet services, followed by digital TV in September 2004. Kincardine's future plans also include deployment of video-on-demand (VOD) and telephony applications.

Kincardine's choice of C-COR's GigE Max was based on several factors including its "pay-as-you-grow" scaling provisioned by 2.5 Gbps plug-in modules; its ability to support long distances with less fiber network complexity than other high-bandwidth offerings; its offering of more than double the capacity of basic GigE solutions; and strong local technical support offered by C-COR Electronics Canada personnel along with their preferred channel partner, TVC Canada.
