C-COR showcases its On Demand platform, bandwidth, and resource management systems, and 1GHz, CWDM-capable access equipment at IBC

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- C-COR Incorporated (Nasdaq:CCBL - News) is showcasing the latest advances in its On Demand Platform, bandwidth and resource management systems, and 1GHz, CWDM-capable access equipment in Stand 520, Hall 1, at IBC2006 (September 8-12) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. C-COR's product portfolio of hardware and software enables network operators to successfully launch, manage, and scale revenue-generating services in a competitive consumer marketplace, while migrating to intelligent, all-IP networks.

C-COR's Unified Video Delivery Platform and Integrated Solutions At this year's IBC, C-COR highlights its technology leadership in unified video delivery systems with booth demonstrations in Linear Ad Insertion (a digital and analog advertising solution for cable and IPTV deployed in over 125 markets worldwide), Dynamic On Demand Advertising (a solution that dynamically rotates ad copy without re-encoding programs), and VOD for IPTV (deployed by national network operators in Europe).

In addition to its On Demand solutions for VOD and advertising, C-COR is showing its bandwidth and resource management systems as well as 1GHz HFC access equipment at IBC. Guy Cherry, Principal Architect, C-COR's Global Strategies Group, is the 2006 Chair of the IBC technical session on "Multimedia in the Home - Having the Right Connection" (September 7, 2006 at 10:00 am local time, Room A). The session looks at various aspects of home networking including technologies, content and digital rights management, home terminal storage, and consumer-driven uses of home equipment such as advanced advertising, Internet access via TV, and PVR applications. Mr. Cherry is also presenting a paper at the session on "New Architectures for Advertising - Adaptive VOD Advertising."
