HASSELT, Belgium -- Zappware, the Belgian one-stop solution provider for interactive Digital TV (iDTV) on multiple TV platforms, has attracted a group of new investors, thus visibly strengthening its stakeholder structure. The new investors will further endorse Zappware's implementation of both its local and international strategies. Managing partners Patrick Vos and Koen Swings are hence taking the next step in the ongoing professionalization and expansion of the company.
The new investors group has been created around private capital providers Michel Akkermans en Jurgen Ingels. With a.o. Clear2Pay they have a proven record in turning a promising business into an international success. Jurgen Ingels has also been appointed member of Zappware's Executive Board.
Patrick Vos, CEO & Managing Partner Zappware: "By welcoming an investors group around Michel Akkermans and Jurgen Ingels alongside investor company LRM, we have created a second stable pillar of investors to support Zappware. We are very impressed by the expertise of Akkermans en Ingels in guiding companies through productization and international expansion. Given the combination with LRM, we now have a very synergetic stakeholder structure to act both locally and internationally. We are convinced that we will now be able to approach the international market - which we have been entering the past two years with success - at an accelerated pace."
