WaveRider expands its non-line-of-sight wireless broadband product family with the NCL5000 Series

TORONTO -- WaveRider Communications Inc. (OTCBB:WAVR - News), the leader in non-line-of-sight (NL0S) wireless broadband technology and deployments, today expanded its portfolio of NLOS wireless products with the launch of its NCL5000 Series. Operating in the 5.8 GHz spectrum and using OFDM technology, the new NCL5000 Series of bridges/routers offer WaveRider customers an affordable high-bandwidth backhaul and enterprise connectivity solution for their wireless networks.

With data throughput speeds of up to 72 Mbps, the NCL5000 Series is ideal for backhaul applications, enabling wireless Internet service providers to expand their WaveRider networks to new communities or regions. The NCL5000 Series provide a cost-effective solution for telecommunications companies to reach new subscriber areas and with a range of up to 20 miles is an alternative to T1 connections.
