KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Wavelink Corporation, a leading provider of mobile infrastructure management software for the enterprise, today announced the appointment of Tim Zier as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Bringing more than 30 years of senior management and financial leadership to the position, Zier will oversee Wavelink's financial strategy as the company continues to expand its worldwide presence in the enterprise mobility management market. Zier will play a critical role in guiding Wavelink's growth strategy, including mergers and acquisitions, and the recent acquisition of AirPrism, and managing the company's continued growth.

"Wavelink is the established leader in the wireless LAN administration and mobile device management market with thousands of marquee customers," said Zier. "With the acquisition of AirPrism and its current course for growth, Wavelink is at a pivotal point in helping to usher in the next phase of wireless deployments for the enterprise. I look forward to being a part of the team leading Wavelink's continued success."

Zier's extensive experience includes serving as the CFO of Logitech, a worldwide leader in personal computer peripheral devices. During his six-year tenure at Logitech, Zier led the company through its initial public offering on the Swiss Bourse and managed all financial activities during its growth from $5 million to $250 million in revenue. Zier also served as COO of Canadian-based Advanced Gravis, a world leader in developing gaming controllers for personal computers. He led Advanced Gravis' growth from $5 million to $20 million in annual revenue over a two-year period and helped to position the company for acquisition. Zier also served three years as CFO of two venture-backed emerging growth software companies, five years at Tandem Computers, including serving as that company's International Business Manager, and five years at Deloitte & Touche in San Francisco.

"We are delighted to welcome Tim to Wavelink's senior management team," said Dave Bullis, CEO and president of Wavelink. "Tim's impressive senior financial management experience in multi-national and publicly traded companies will be a key asset as we move into the next stage of our development and expansion as an organization."
