BRUSSELS -- Voxbone, a leading provider of local telephone numbers and VoIP transport, today announced a partnership agreement with Pinger, Inc., which offers instant voice messaging service for mobile phones. As Pinger’s VoIP partner, Voxbone is playing a key role in expanding the Pinger voice messaging service outside of the United States.
With the help of Voxbone, Pinger’s patent-pending service is now available in more than 20 countries. Pinger users send instant voice messages by dialing a local number, saying the name of the person they want to message and speaking their message. Recipients immediately get notified of the new message via text, prompting them to call a local number. They hear the voice message and can reply with just one button. The free service works on virtually any mobile phone.
“Voxbone was able to procure the international DID numbers we needed to expand our service globally,” said Pinger CTO and VP of Engineering Jocelyn Cloutier. “The company stood out not only because it supports numbers in a wide range of countries, but it was also flexible enough to customize its service to work with our IVR platform.”
