TAMPA, Fla. -- Strengthening its presence in the African mobile market, Syniverse Technologies (NYSE:SVR) today announced that Vodacom South Africa has selected Syniverse to enhance the operator’s mobile roaming operations. In a takeaway from one of Syniverse’s competitors in the region, Vodacom South Africa becomes one of more than 45 African operators to rely on Syniverse for a myriad of mobile solutions that range from signaling to messaging to roaming.
Syniverse, a leading provider of roaming and messaging services to the global telecommunications industry, will provide Vodacom with comprehensive data clearing and fraud prevention services.
