Tomas Isaksson resigns from Vodafone Netherlands 'due to personal reasons'; CFO Alexander Schuit will acts as interim CEO

MAASTRICHT, The Netherlands -- Tomas Isaksson, CEO of Vodafone Netherlands will leave Vodafone Netherlands due to personal reasons and will go back to the United States to join his family and pursue other opportunities outside of Vodafone. Alexander Schuit has been appointed interim CEO of Vodafone Netherlands as of 1 April 2005.
Tomas Isaksson joined Vodafone Netherlands in April 2004. During this period the company achieved strong customer growth and gained a number 1 position in UMTS in the Dutch market by being the first operator to successfully introduce UMTS products and services in the Netherlands. He also made a significant contribution to our leading position as a customer focused company.
Alexander Schuit has been with Vodafone Netherlands since July 2000 as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Management Board.
