NEW YORK -- TechWeb, the global leader in business technology media, announced today that two of its leading media brands, Light Reading's Unstrung and InformationWeek, have been selected to produce the CTIA eShow Daily for CTIA-The Wireless Association's upcoming events: International CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment(R), October 7-9, 2009, in San Diego, and International CTIA WIRELESS(R), March 23-25, 2010, in Las Vegas (www.ctiashow.com).

Leveraging the position of Light Reading's Unstrung as the wireless industry's 4G authority, and InformationWeek's role as the leading multimedia business technology brand, the CTIA eShow Daily news sites will cover news and analysis of interest to service providers and enterprise business technology decision-makers.

"We thank CTIA, and we think this partnership is very strategic for our brands, as the CTIA events are the biggest and most influential in the mobile industry," says Joseph Braue, SVP/Group Director of the Light Reading Communications Network.

"TechWeb's expertise and reach across the enterprise closely aligns with the focus on mobile business at CTIA events," says Robert Mesirow, vice president and show director for CTIA. "The CTIA eShow Daily will provide attendees with an electronic platform to learn about and debate the latest developments in the mobile industry."

The CTIA eShow Daily site for International CTIA WIRELESS IT & E (www.unstrung.com/ctia) will launch September 7 with previews and news updates on the show. Unstrung and InformationWeek will also be releasing a daily newsletter the week before and during the show to give attendees easy access to International CTIA WIRELESS IT & E news.
