ACTON, Mass. -- Azimuth Systems, Inc., innovators in repeatable, scalable and automated wireless network test, today announced that its W-Series Test Platform has been selected by The Tolly Group, one of the networking industry’s premiere testing organizations. The Tolly Group has adopted the W-Series for its Tolly Verified certification and verification programs, which are designed to guide vendors in their technology development strategies, and users in their technology assessments, acquisitions and deployments.

The W-Series incorporates innovative, patented technologies that enable The Tolly Group to test 802.11 infrastructure in conditions and criteria that accurately reflect and mirror the conditions, scale and mobility dynamics of large-scale enterprises. It supports The Tolly Group in establishing performance benchmarks that eliminate the ambiguities of over-the-air testing, and. enables them to apply these conditions and metrics consistently and fairly in its testing programs.

The Tolly Group President & CEO Kevin Tolly notes: “The W-Series fits with our goal of providing the market with the most comprehensive and useful performance assessments achievable, and upholding our Fair Testing Charter, which ensures that consistent, unbiased test metrics are applied. Up until now, several factors impeded the industry’s fair evaluation of wireless products because test conditions and environments were not guaranteed to be repeatable from lab to lab.”
