Tiscali Sells Dutch DSL Base

Tiscali Netherlands transfers ADSL customers connected to KPN through reseller agreement to focus on network unbundling

CAGLIARI, Italy -- Tiscali Netherlands and KPN have reached an agreement forthe transfer of more than 60.000 Tiscali ADSL retail subscribers to KPN for a total considerationof around 13 million Euro, effective by today. The agreement involves exclusively to thoseTiscali Netherlands ADSL subscribers that are connected to the KPN network through aresellers contract between the two operators. Customers will not experience any change inservices. Settings and conditions will remain identical.

This transfer is part of Tiscali’s strategy to focus on the accelerated unbundling of theproprietary network allowing the company to offer competitive ADSL access products as well asinnovative services to its ADSL subscribers.
