MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Telseon, a leading metropolitan optical network provider, today announced that INYC, a national broadband access solution provider, has chosen the Telseon Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) network to provide high-speed metro connectivity and data transport services. With Telseon, INYC can immediately broaden its market reach and shorten service delivery cycles while re-allocating capital dedicated to metro network deployment to more profitable opportunities such as expanding its managed services portfolio. Using Telseon's logical wire IP service, INYC will connect its three data centers in the New York market and leverage Telseon's footprint to virtually colocate in 15 additional on-net Telseon network locations. Telseon's Web-based self-provisioning will give INYC the flexibility to scale its bandwidth and reconfigure network connections between any of these data centers on the fly, eliminating the need to forecast capacity and inventory bandwidth. The resources saved by outsourcing to Telseon will enable INYC to concentrate on offering more value-added managed services such as dedicated hosting, security and firewall services, monitoring services and enterprise managed systems."In a tight economic market, we need to explore options that will enable us to do more with less without risking customer satisfaction," said Oriya Pollak, INYC Chief Technology Officer. "The Telseon service decreases our capital expenditure while expanding our footprint, delivering unlimited bandwidth capacity and shortening time to market. Our customers reap the most benefit from this-better network performance and an enhanced portfolio of services." Telseon Inc.
