Telco Systems announces management change

FOXBORO, Mass. -- Telco Systems, a leader in telecommunications transport and access solutions for public and private networks, today announced that Larry Asten, the company's president, has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Bob Resinger, the Chief Operating Officer, will assume the responsibilities of president.

Describing Mr. Asten's contributions, Mr. Resinger said: "Larry has helped Telco Systems increase sales in the company's IP and TDM product lines. Telco Systems continues to make great strides in advancing the company's IP product suite in the market. As he leaves Telco Systems, Larry leaves a legacy of proven performance and an experienced management team. We thank him and wish him well."

Bob Resinger, a seasoned executive with more than 32 years in technology and telecommunications, has held executive positions in general management, operations, sales, engineering, and manufacturing. He also helped establish two startups: Magnalink, an IP company purchased by Telco Systems, and Sphere Technology, a voice recognition company.

Dave Lee, Vice President of Marketing and Services, said: "We are well positioned to continue to build on our momentum and growth in the market as we continue to support and evolve our product line of carrier-class VoIP, Metro Ethernet, FTTH, and TDM solutions."
